30 Creative Google Doodles

Google Doodles

As I’m a Google lover and I really like their Doodle for Google idea I’ve decided to get some cool samples of the Doodles to show here to you. The official Google logo was designed by Ruth Kedar and it is well known to all users. The logo became so familiar that Google visitors and also some designers started sending drawings and ideas for Google to apply to the their logo. The idea to keep constantly changing the logo was so good that they have already a huge amount of doodles at the Holidays Logos page to show. Personally I really would like to have the talent to produce a doodle, but while I can’t, here some of the best already produced:

Great reminder of how much fun a simple logo can be when you get to use theme and variation

  2. RUGRLN says:

Ahh.. I see your not the only who collects them! I’ve got a nice collection sitting on my HDD and some DVDs around the house too..

  3. cheth says:

Neat! some of them are unseen !

  4. Tom says:

Yeah, the Google logo is really versatile, it’s great to see what some people’s creativity can produce using it.

  5. It was a fun watching Google Doodles and I agree with Cheth that many of these were new to see. However…thanks for an interesting share!

‘Personally I really would like to have the talent to produce a doodle, but while I can’t’… Tom i think everyone here can see you have the talent and a great imagination, you can do anything if you put your mind to it :) Thanks for this, i might give this a shot at creating one!

    • Tom says:

Thanks for commenting Shaw. Personally I think design is much more about creativity than ‘skill’ or ‘talent’. If you come up with a great idea then you don’t have to be a master in Photoshop to express it always. I would definitely attempt a doodle design.

  7. Adam says:

I love it when Google has a doodle – the flying spaghetti monster one is legendary.

I wonder what the school chalkboard one was for?

    • Tom says:

I think the spaghetti monster one is freaky looking! It’s still a cool design though.

I’m not sure about the chalkboard one either actually. Anyone have an idea?

  8. Simon says:

It was for National Teachers Day if I remember correctly!
