30 Minute Redesign: Week 17 Vote

30 Minute Redesigns

I hope many of you saw last week’s 30 minute redesign. If you missed it then please check out the redesign I did of Bocotas

30 Minute Redesign: eCustom Solutions

The idea is that I redesign a website in just 30 minutes, trying to improve upon it’s design aspects. I then publish a case-study of my improvements for learning purposes and email the webmaster the final .psd design. I will be doing one redesign each week, and to be eligible for the following week’s redesign you must leave a comment to the previous week’s redesign with your web address and why you would like a redesign.

Voting Begins

After receiving lots of great comments to last week’s redesign post, I’m happy to present the candidates for this Saturday’s redesign.

Please look over the websites below, and then use the poll at the bottom of this post to choose which site you’d like to see redesigned:

IMPORTANT: I’ve decided to start only accepting sites that are English, and belong to the person suggesting it. I’m afraid that it’s simply too hard for me to work with a website where I can’t read any of the content. Also, I feel that I’d rather help people with their own sites, rather than just a site that they enjoy visiting (this way it’s more likely that the person can actually use my redesign).

1: Scott Photographics

2: Nick Throlson

3: Clear Concepts

4: Eye-On-Designs

5: Vibe Graphics

6: Thatcham Historical Society

7: Eperez

8: SRCAR

Vote Now!

Please cast your vote using the poll below:

Be sure to check back on Saturday for the winning case-study!

    thanks

Most of the sites do not look all that bad, far better than some of the previous entries. The ones that stand out to me that could benefit from your expertise seem to be SRCAR and Vibe.

I know which ever gets the vote you will do a fantastic job.

    Clear concepts looks best

  4. Tough vote! All of them looks quite well-done!

  5. MarkT says:

Ooooh, tricky one this week – most look pretty good to start with.

I’m going to vote for one of them anyway, just because I want to see what you can do to REALLY make them shine. :o )
    Clear Concepts it is.

  6. Tom says:

I agree that the sites are better quality this week, but I’m kind of happy about that! It might be nice to just implement improvements rather than doing a full makeover.

Btw: Some of you noticed the problems with voting before. PollDaddy closed the poll early for some reason, so for an hour or so after posting this nobody could vote. I’m not sure what happened there, but I reopened the poll fairly quickly, so everything should be fine now.
