I hope many of you saw last week’s 30 minute redesign. If you missed it then please check out the redesign I did of Ink It
The idea is that I redesign a website in just 30 minutes, trying to improve upon it’s design aspects. I then publish a case-study of my improvements for learning purposes and email the webmaster the final .psd design. 30 Minute Redesigns take place every Saturday.
After receiving lots of great comments to last week’s redesign post, I’m happy to present the candidates for this Saturday’s redesign.
Please look over the websites below, and then use the poll at the bottom of this post to choose which site you’d like to see redesigned:
Please cast your vote using the poll below:
Be sure to check back on Saturday for the winning case-study!
Tom is the founder of PSDFAN. He loves writing tutorials, learning more about design and interacting with the community. On a more interesting note he can also play guitar hero drunk with his teeth.

Sorry don’t write nice english, but Dan’s cartoon is the better.
I actually prefer Android Moves design. I’m interested to see how people will vote this week though!
Android Moves!
Looks like it’s a close vote this week at any rate!
Hello Tom, this is the first time I’ve seen your blog and the 30 minute redesign – what a brilliant idea!
I’m going through a crisis with my website at the moment. As a marketing consultant, I’ve worked on dozens of client websites; overseeing their design & development, but when it comes to my own, I’m flummoxed! The hardest copy I have ever written was the copy for my own website. Your 30 minute redesigns are genius! Some good tips for me and my clients – thank you – and I can see how you’ve brought some of your previous redesign sites alive!
Mine is in transition to a new platform but I need to design how I want it to look before it transfers – I’m the hold up… I want to move from a brochure site (current) to more of a lead generator and I’ve drawn a blank. If you feel I’m worthy of a few comments, I’d be grateful (feel like I’m on Trinny & Susannah!). Thanks and keep up the good work!
Thanks for the kind words and support Louise! It’s been a great personal project of mine, and I’ve really enjoying doing the series so far. You’re more than welcome to submit your website for review (you need to leave the address as a comment in tomorrows redesign post). Then I’ll be sure to include it in next Thursday’s poll.
I do agree that designing for yourself is the hardest job though! There were a lot of versions of PSDFAN that got scrapped before I settled on this one.
oouch thats too bad, Looks like my blog will lose in this vote, but no problem
Bad luck . I really hope you’ll submit your site again to today’s redesign post. I’d love to redesign it at some point.
