Reflections are all around us, and are a large part of natural beauty. I particularly like reflections as the symmetry created draws parralels to some of the primary principles of good design. Additionally the reflections often expose things not obvious in the original subject. Often reflections can take on new, and more interesting forms, displaying an entirely new dimension to things.

Amazing photos:-)
Thanks Adone, I’m glad you enjoyed them!
excellent collection!
I like how in the last photo the reflection reveals the intirety of the subjects while the actual subjects in reality are only partially visible. Brilliant.

What a great collection of photos! If only I could manipulate photos in that way. Speaking on photo manipulation, I ran across this article on photo manipulation with PhotoShop and how it has effected the world… quite an interesting take:

nice collection, thank you
Some awesome work here, shame deviant have slapped their watermark all over the cool glasses image. The kingfisher is an amazing shot.
i think that the picture of the trees before the photo of the yellow flower would almost be more interesting if flipped over, a lot of photos with reflections do!
Fabulous pictures.
Hi there
I am busy completing the design on my website and it has a blog component that I am calling reflections, which will house some of my musings and writings. I just wanted to know if the pictures displayed on your reflection series has copyright?
Elaine
Hi Elaine. We don’t own these images, and we only republish them giving full links to the original author by way as credit. I would recommend asking the original authors for usage on your own website.
