Mikko Lagerstedt is a hugely talented photographer and digital artist from Finland. In his own words he strives to view the world in new and interesting ways, and this really shows in his work. Mikko is an expert at digitally altering, manipulating and enhancing his images to make them incredibly intense and eye catching. If you look at his work he often enhances the lighting and colors of his images, as well as adding in additional details, light effects and even photo combinations.
If you’re an aspiring photographer or work with photos in Photoshop then take note, as this is the expertise you should aspire to in your work.

Thanks Chris. I love the simplicity of his work also. Too many artist’s these days over complicate their work, which end up feeling cluttered. Mikko’s work is a great example that simple can be powerful.
