Great news! The PSDFAN members area has finally launched. I know that it’s been a while coming, but I’ve finally sorted out all problems with the system and uploaded every last file.
So without further ado, I thought I’d let you know a little about the members area, what to expect in the future, and what you get from it.
1. As of today there are 51 .psd files for each of the 51 tutorials published at PSDFAN. This means that you can look at how each image has been constructed, play with settings and easily copy layer styles and objects.
2. In the future I’ll be releasing premium content exclusively for PSDFAN members. This will include stuff like professional brush sets, premium tutorials and texture sets.
3. I’m also looking at expanding the community here, and will be integrating some awesome member features like a forum, member polls, and suggestions box.
It’s actually totally free to become a member, but if you want access to the premium content such as .psd files then you can pay a monthly subscription.
File access costs just $4.95 per month! This is not only very affordable, but will help support the site, and will allow me to spend more time posting. Technically even if you pay for just 1 month, then you’d still be able to download all 50+ tutorial files.
I would really appreciate feedback on the members area. What do you think of it? What would you like to see changed or added? I’m happy to improve things as much as I can, and will always listen to ideas and feedback.
I hope to see this great community continue to grow, and look forward to the members area being a part of this.

This is a great step forward in user experience and think it was a great improvement to fuel another source of profits.
Are you offering a “profile page” for all users where they can do a bio, blog link, name, company, etc?
This will greatly help your sites SEO along with your memebers.

Hey Sean. Yeah, I’m looking into this kind of thing also. I have big plans of profiles, a forum and more, but right now just wanted to give people access to the .psd files as there had been many requests. I’ll announce each time I make an addition to the members area though.

Thanks Jon, I’ve responded to your email and your upgraded account should be working fine now. There appear to be a few bugs with the system, but my developer should be ironing them out tonight.
Has anyone else had problems upgrading, or any other problems at all?
