Quick Update

Quick Update

(Articles - Site News)

Hi everyone. I just wanted to apologize for the delayed post here. I’ve been moving back up to university and as a result have been without internet for a few days. I’m pretty much settled into my new house now, but am absolutely exhausted (10 hour drive), and so won’t be able to get to work until this weekend.

I know that it’s only been a few days without posts, but I appreciate how many people check out the site every day and just wanted to assure you that I’ve got a lot of great content lined up for the rest of the year. Now that summer’s finally over I should be able to have a far better posting routine, with less unexpected disturbances.

Thanks for your continued support, the community here is growing really well, and everyone is making the site well worth the time that I spend on it. I’ll be getting to everyone’s comments tomorrow, as well as hopefully posting my next tutorial.

-Tom.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. :) I have a great interview lined up for this week as well as a tutorial that I should be done writing tomorrow. It’s taking longer than expected to write due to the most unreliable university internet ever!

Hey guys, thanks for checking back to the site. I just wanted to update you that I’ve had the worst case of flu. Unfortunately this has left a backlog of university work that I’m attending to for the next couple of days – but psdfan is still very much active and I’ll be devoting a lot of time to it now that I’m pretty much better.

    Thanks for the support :)

@shandercage: while you’re waiting for Tom to recover, you may want to check out mattepainting.org – they have matte painting tutorials and it’s a great community.

  13. Tom i guess you should open a guest post for a while:)just an idea:)

  16. Tom says:

Thanks for the ongoing support guys, it really means a lot. I’ve finally had time to get some new posts out and now I’m just going through to get back to everyone’s comments.

Ronald: Would you ever be interested in guest posting here once in a while? I’m particularly looking for good roundup style posts (such as: ’30 retro and grunge tutorials’ and stuff like that).

Shandercage: Thanks for the suggestion, I’m planning a tutorial for that kind of thing soon, I’m just trying to come up with a good theme for the image.
