I think this design is terrific; looks like a tutorial worth seeing.
I recently re-designed a logo for a church and would’ve loved to get my hands on reworking their website, too. Mind you, it wouldn’t have looked as good as this!

Very nice looking layout Tom! I like the swooping lines and the use of texture. The overall structure of the site is very clean and intuitive. Nice work!
