20 Websites With Muted Color-Schemes

As designers we can often go a little over the top with our use of color. It’s important to remember that sometimes subtlety works best, and that a muted color-palette can portray more creativity and skill than brash colors.

Today we’ve compiled 20 websites with awesome muted color-schemes. These designs all have their merits, and help show that color isn’t everything!

  3. Looks like dead website but its simply awesome .

  4. inspiring collection.

  5. A collection of really nice sites. The colours used go very well together and all the sites stand out. I especially like fantasy cartography and creative payne but all the sites are equally as good. I could definitely use some of these sites for new inspiration.

Thanks for adding my site “Creativepayne” to your site. I’m honored to have my site listed along side these other great sites. I really like the site “Who is Leon” for it’s simplicity and cleanness but with some really nice smooth javascript.
