The technique I see the majority of these cards use is Spot UV where it’s coated in spots that the designer provides.
Also the rounded corners are super nice and feel good in the hand.
I know a guy that prints these

I was disappointed there aren’t any links to sources.

Hey Trisha,
We’re so sorry about it, but when creating the round-up, the business cards were found on different inspiration galleries, and unfortunately, there were no links pointing to the website. I don’t know if they don’t have websites at all, or the staff of those galleries just didn’t place the links to the business cards. I still hope you will enjoy the post.
Cheers.
Thanks Stelian. I still enjoy it. I was just hoping to get/make one of those card holders.
Thats is wonderful collection. It would been good if it has source of each business card.Hope you might have different reason behind not including this.thanks for sharing this.
Awesome collection here! Lady Bon Bon and Tuna Heart are nice looking designs! It’s amazing how a finish like UV Spot or Letterpress can add such a nice polished feel to a printed piece.

Eric: Couldn’t agree more. As people say ‘design is in the details’ and subtle finishes can really make a card stand out.
My web design is in the works, but, those business cards are so awesome. Where would you get them cut in shapes that way? Thanks for the post, Donna
Hi Donna, I would think that any high-end printers would offer solutions for custom shapes. It would likely cost a bit more, but I think it’s worth it!
What a lovely collection of business cards – they look very expensive. If you received one of those you definitely wouldn’t want to throw it away!
I totally agree Sarah, they definitely feel precious, so potential customers are more inclined to hold on to them.
These are great! If you want to see some more great designs, I just started a new business card gallery called Card Stache.
