30 Minute Redesign – Suggestions Needed!

30 Minute Redesigns

After 51 weeks of fantastic 30 minute redesigns, for some strange reason, this week we received no suggestions for this weeks redesign!

So… rather than a redesign today, I’m using this post to gather suggestions for next week’s redesign. I’ll host a poll next Thursday, like usual to decide which design will be redesigned. If you would like a completely FREE redesign and analysis of your site, simply leave a comment to this post with your websites address.

Getting CombatFPS.com redesigned would be pretty cool. It’s a shooter gaming forum. Having the main forum page redesigned with a sidebar and making it look nicer would be amazing.

    Tom,
I’m surprised no one wanted to enter! I’d love to submit my site for consideration!

    Have a blessed Easter.

    Http://www.playxfight.com please….

Hi I have recently set up my site i have very limited knowledge of website design and so far its very simple but not really effective of premoting my HD Wallpapers.

I would be interested in seeing how you work with gradients to add interest and style. I do not think I use them that well myself but see others creations so beautiful and would like to learn more about using them to a higher advantage. Not really a full redesign idea for you but incorporated perhaps? :)

  6. I’d like my blog http://www.chaitanyavenneti.com to be analysed.

    Thank you.

Your blog looks pretty clean, but I can definitely see room for structural improvements, I’ll be sure to include it in next week’s poll.

Hey, Tom, the job you are doing here is really fantastic!

A good friend of mine recommended me to make a suggestion for this week’s 30 Minute Redesign.

Here is mine: http://orizont.org . Even if it isn’t in english, i think you could manage to do some great work with it :D

    Cheers.

Thanks so much for the kind words Lurie. I hate to say this, but unfortunately I can’t accept sites that aren’t in English as they’re simply too difficult for me to work with. I hope you understand.

  8. Hi! I really enjoyed your redesign suggestions (just ran across them a few weeks ago) and I’d be curious on your suggestions for the redesign of my wife’s website. She’s a doctor and practices homoeopathy.
    Here’s her current website:
    http://www.dr-freund.info
It is in german, if you need explanations on the content of any section, just let me know.
We’d like to get out of that “boxy” design and give the site more room to breath and more transparency. Colors may change.

    • Tom says:

Hi Markus, unfortunately as I explained to Lurie we can’t accept non-English sites. I appreciate your interest and support though.

  9. Eric Vasquez says:

I think it might be cool to do a redesign of ign.com or comingsoon.net – some kind of movie, music, or video game site where there is lots of content that isn’t always organized in the best way?

    • Tom says:

Hey Eric, thanks for the suggestions, although generally I like to help people with their own personal websites. I might do a few casestudies on larger corporate websites but for now I think it’s most beneficial to help with personal sites.

  10. Jay says:

would like to see your thoughts on improvement on colemantherapycenter.com

  11. Simon Burley says:

Hi, Always thinking about redesigning our website http://www.will4adventure.com. It’s over ten years old and was made before the ‘big column left’, ‘small column right’ blog-style layout trend which is so popular nowadays. Because that trend is so popular it’s difficult for us to make the decision to break from it; especially as it was our idea in the first place ;o)
Aside from the coding, I think it’s stood the test of time very well, but has become very ‘busy’ IMHO.
Any ideas very much appreciated, Thanks, Simon.

  12. George says:

The design on my site mobilesmug.com is very simple and i would like to see a few things improved, and because i really like every site you redesign i will be glad to see your suggestion!
