Our Traffic

Everyone knows that traffic is what matters in the end, and fortunately we’ve got lots of it! Despite being just over 1 month old (as of August 1st 2008) traffic is growing steadily – a reflection of our loyal audience and high quality content. In July (the site’s first full month online) we achieved just over 50,000 unique visitors. Best of all this number looks set to rise steadily over the coming months. In the final week of July PSDFAN received approximately 17,500 unique visitors, a perfect demonstration of our fast growing audience.

For August I plan to write more tutorials, spend more time promoting, and generally building upon the initial success of the site. PSDFAN is unlike any other Photoshop tutorial blog, and will NOT be just another website that fizzles out – things are just getting started!

Our Rates Are Affordable, Very Affordable…

How affordable? How does just $50 per month sound?

Seeing as the site is so new I wanted to give potential advertisers a chance to jump onboard at a minimum risk, but maximum potential. Simply put, this is the cheapest that our advertising will ever be, and the traffic looks set to carry on rising.

The Alexa graph below shows PSDFAN versus the two largest Photoshop tutorial blogs in the world: PSDTUTS, and Tutorial9 (both also great sites, I recommend that you check them out). Whilst PSDFAN is not quite yet at their level of traffic(unsurprising considering that the site has just started out) you can see the growth rate, and the affordability of our advertising rates for your business.

Ad Positioning

We are currently accepting 125X125 ads, which I’ve chosen to position in the point of greatest exposure – sitewide and right at the top of our sidebar. Your ad will be shown on every page, above the fold.

Our Audience

Our audience consists of a spectrum of graphic designers, web designers and web professionals. Our community is growing fast, and our readership is extremely loyal. Our visitors are all people who are serious about design, and most own their own website. Each day we attract a new host of designers, designers who may be interested in your business!

You Will Get Special Mention

Despite our automated ad system, I’m keen to build a healthy relationship with my advertisers. I’m keen for you to get the most bang for your buck, and will consequently announce all new advertisers on the main site after they purchase an ad. I’m also keen to recommend useful resources/websites to my visitors, so if I really like your service then I won’t hesitate to help spread the word.

The Future

My aim is for PSDFAN to be recognized as one of the leading tutorial websites in the world. Even after 1 month online the quality of content and frequent updates have pushed the site beyond my expectations, but I won’t stop putting my all into the site. My aim is to increase traffic by at least 50% each month, and hopefully more than this. I won’t be able to keep ad rates at $50 forever, but for now my main aim is to keep writing the best tutorials I can and to help the PSDFAN community to continue to grow.
