Our Sponsors Rock!

I just wanted to give a shout out to our great sponsors, all of whom help to keep this site running. I’ve given a little background about each of their services, as I’m sure that you’ll find many of them useful. Anyway, be sure to check them out, as they all come highly recommended!

PSD2HTML – Probably the largest PSD to HTML type service online right now. They’re the top dog for a reason – their work ethic and talent seems to know no bounds. I’ve never used them personally, but several of my associates have recommended their services very highly.

Logic Web – Great value, reliable dedicated servers. What more could you ask for?

Feather Code – I love the branding behind this website. As a web designer myself I know how important ‘light’ code is, and for just $75 this clean, semantic style of coding seems well worth the price!

W3 Markup – Another coding service, but this one offers the customer great flexibility in terms of time frame and technical details for their project. Highly recommended.

Stock Riot – I only recently discovered this site, but so far have been very impressed. They offer very high quality stock photos at a great price – particularly when comparing the prices of their very large images to some of their competitors.

How To Design Your – How.ToDesignYour.com teaches budding designers how to create great websites /logos in a series of video courses. The videos are really easy to follow and let you easily absorb a lot of information without a lot of effort. This site is perfect for aspiring web designers!

ColourMod – This is not just an ordinary color picker, explore their website for a couple of minutes and you’ll see what I mean.

UniqueCSS – A great idea to help showcase fantastic CSS based designs. Simply submit your design and if you’re the monthly winner you win $25 (plus great exposure). It’s a win win situation!

CSS Slicers – This PSD to HTML service is pretty new to me, but from what I can see they offer a very affordable price (cheaper than most comparable services).

FoxyCart – I’m really keen to try out this service in the near future. It’s an easy way for anyone with a website to set up their own shopping/ecommerce system. I have a few ideas that this kind of service would work great with.

Advertising Update

I also want to take this opportunity to tell you about advertising at PSDFAN. For far too long I’d left the advertising page without updating it – meaning that all of the information was well out of date (and corresponded to when the site first launched). If you’re interested in advertising you can go and explore that page, but to sum up how much the site’s grown:

Our traffic for the last 3 months is:

July: 50,000 unique visitors
August: 90,000 unique visitors
September: 125,000 unique visitors

We also now boast over 700 RSS Subscribers and a Google PageRank of 4.

Traffic dipped a little at the start of this month due to a lapse in posting (I explained this in a previous post). However, thankfully now the site is running very smoothly again, and traffic levels are back up. I’ve got a lot planned for PSDFAN in November and you can expect to see a lot more growth and activity here!
