In my previous poll many of you voted that you would like to see more basic tutorials on PSDFAN. I’m really keen to cater for this demand, but to be perfectly honest wasn’t sure where to start. Therefore I thought I’d take the logical step of ASKING YOU.
If you have a few seconds it would be really helpful if you could fill out the poll below, and then I can give you guys the exact tutorials you want:
Tom is the founder of PSDFAN. He loves writing tutorials, learning more about design and interacting with the community. On a more interesting note he can also play guitar hero drunk with his teeth.

hope to get more tutorials on text and typography….
Yeah i agree with webz, a few tutorials on typography would be great and maybe some retro poster designs? I’m hoping you can do a tutorial on the link i sent you in the suggest a tutorial post about smoke typography. That would be awesome. Cheers tom
Maybe special effects and web related like web layouts, and elements.
Thanks for the votes and great suggestions everyone.
I’m getting a lot of interest in text tutorials. Anything in particular that everyone is struggling with? I don’t know if you want ‘basic’ tutorials in terms of explaining the basics of using text, or if you’d like more poster and typography designs like suggested by Shaw.
Shaw: Yeah, I have been trying to work out a cool way to do that effect, but it’s a little harder than it looks. I’ll keep working on it for you though
Text & Typography!!
I would like to see more ideas for poster designs using just Typography (Using Text as pattern and then using masks etc.. Hope you get the drift!)
Waiting for some amazing Tuts
Thanks for the suggestion Rash, I think I’m getting a prefer good idea of what people want. One thing still bothering me is how basic to make the tutorials. It seems as if most of you would like a tutorial that isn’t strictly basic (as in explaining the basics of using certain tools), but rather a regular tutorial for a poster design or similar that just happens to focus upon typography, or masking or whatever.
I’ve got a few ideas lined up, but if anyone was willing to post an image of what they want to see I’ll get a tutorial designed specifically around that.
