Marcelo Schultz is a wonderful digital artist from Brazil. He is best known for his typography and illustration work, producing some wonderful typography pieces with a keen attention to detail. His work often revolves around hand drawn fonts, which he then illustrates using Photoshop. His typography pieces are expressive, colorful and have plenty of depth.
Marcelo also has a keen sense of texture and lighting. He often creates surfaces in Photoshop from scratch, ranging from leather to fabric, to plant life. If you’re interested in typography then Marcelo’s work should be hugely inspiring, as it shows the true diversity and creative opportunities when working with custom type.
I recommend that you check out Marcelo’s full portfolio as he has many more designs than are featured in this post.

Tom is the founder of PSDFAN. He loves writing tutorials, learning more about design and interacting with the community. On a more interesting note he can also play guitar hero drunk with his teeth.
