Rhys Owens is a great illustrator from Swansea in the United Kingdom. Rhys specializes in creating surreal, unique characters through a combination of illustration, digital manipulation and drawing. His characters often center around dark motifs and images such as death, skulls and urban bleakness. His work generally uses a muted color palette, with a restrictive use of color adding additional depth and focus to his designs.

I really like this artwork and its something I would have on my walls in fact as its something really different! Its a piece of artwork I would look at and then do a double take as at first you don’t really take it in. Really original and will definitely be looking into more of Rhys Owen’s work.
I couldn’t agree more. Rhys has such a unique style, I’ve never seen anything else quite like it in the community.
Very unique and interesting style. I really enjoy his pieces. They provoke thought and emotion, which is always a good thing for an artist.
